About Western Connecticut Health Network
Western Connecticut Health Network is a patient-centered healthcare organization formed in 2010 by the joining of two well-established hospitals – Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, and their affiliates. We aim to provide our patients with convenient and local access to the highest level of care and expertise. Among the numerous affiliated operations in our network, we have an integrated physician practice with primary and specialty care expertise and a new, state-of-the art biomedical research institute gaining national attention.
Our centers of excellence include women’s health; neonatal, cardiovascular and cancer treatment services; weight loss and orthopedic surgery; digestive disorders and diagnostic imaging. We offer specialized treatment programs for sleep disorders and asthma management. Both hospitals maintain active clinical research programs and offer clinical trials for patients with cancer and other health concerns.
